"My wallet! It's missing!"Jane, a girl who sat in front of me in class, cried out in anxiety. Tearing her hair in panic, she started rummaging frantically through her school bag and the books on her desk, her face ashen white. Soon, those around her started to help, searching the rest of the classroom thoroughly for the wallet but to no avail. At this point, Jane's lips started to quiver and tears prickled the edge of her eyes, streaming down her cheeks in rivulets.

Everyone was perplexed, scratching their heads over the mysterious disappearance of Jane's wallet. When I was about to lend her some money for recess, a loud voice stopped in my tracks. "Sarah, weren't you in the classroom by yourself earlier? Did you take the wallet?" Anne, one of my classmates, yelled, pointing a finger at me in accusation.
